I have been writing poems, songs, short devotionals and articles for over 40 years. I have created this blog to share them. My prayer is they will encourage, entertain, comfort, challenge, stimulate and sooth your heart and soul. Humor is interwoven into my writings.

Laughter is the number one natural medicine that is free.  Proverbs 17:22 KJV says, “A merry heart does good like a medicine.” Proverbs 15:15 KJV says, “He that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast.” I pray that some of my posts will make your heart merry. My intent is to give you a chuckle and a cheer not necessary have you rolling on the floor. :=)

Zingers are poetry and song lyrics that are either humorous or express an opinion or belief about something. Over the years I have become more minimal in my poems and came up with the word ‘zingers’ to describe them. Most of the time the last line is the zinger, whether it is humorous or just drives the point home.
